Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society (BREADS) Bangalore organised a two-day staff meeting cum training for the programme staff of its Child Rights Education and Action Movement (CREAM) III programme on 23-24 March 2022 at the Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore.
The meeting commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by the inaugural address by Fr K C Sebastian (Rector, DBPH Bangalore). Fr Rubin Mathew (Executive Director, BREADS), Fr Deepu Mathew (Asst. Director, BREADS) were present on the occasion. In their respective addresses, the dignitaries appreciated the staff for the good changes they were effecting in the community and stressed the 3Rs (reflect, reform, and respond) to continue their work.
Handbooks on the formation and strengthening of Child Protection Committees, and the organising of Makkala Gram Sabhas, was released during the training programme. Each district coordinator presented the CREAM programme progress during the past months and the collective response and feedback helped them review their work and improve the same.
The importance of documentation and impact-based activities were also discussed during the sessions.
