The Karnataka Interstate Migrants Alliance for Transformation (KISMAT— a BREADS’ project) celebrated International Women’s Day on 8 March 2022 by conducting an awareness programme on menstrual hygiene for migrant women and girls in Horamavu, Bangalore. The KISMAT team distributed sanitary napkins, masks, and sanitizers and demonstrated the use of sanitary napkins to the women and girls in the community. The community participated actively in the competitions conducted by the KISMAT team. The winners were appreciated with small prizes. The distribution programme benefitted 86 migrant women and girls in Horamavu.
