BREADS Bangalore distributed 56 ration kits and safeguarding kits to 56 Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA workers) under the Sarvagnagar constituency in Bangalore on 21st July 2021 at DB BEST Academy (skill training centre of BREADS), Lingarajpuram.
These kits containing masks, gloves, sanitisers, and PPE kits were distributed to ASHA workers from 8 different wards under the Sarvagnagar constituency, namely- K.G.Halli- ward 30, Nagarwara- ward 23, HBR Layout- ward24, Banaswadi- ward 27, Kammanahalli- ward 28, Kacharkanahalli- ward 29, Lingarajapuram- ward 49, Maruthi Sevanagara- ward 59.
The distribution was done in the presence of Fr Rubin Mathew SDB, Executive Director, BREADS Bangalore, and Dr. Sukanya, Medical Officer, Sarvagnagar. The objective of the distribution was to recognise the services done by the Covid 19 frontline workers and acknowledge the tremendous efforts of ASHA workers during the pandemic.
