BREADS Bangalore extended its support to the poor and needy in and around Don Bosco College, Mampetta, Kozhikode, Kerala. DB College utilised the financial assistance provided by BREADS to distribute food kits to 70 families who are struggling for food due to loss of work, the lockdown, and are daily wage labourers. The food kits consisted mainly of essential items, and it was a great relief for them to get this help for their families during these hard times.
In collaboration with DB Mampetta, BREADS Bangalore also provided medical kits and safety items to St. Joseph’s Hospital, Agustianmuzhy, Mukkom. This is the 80-bed Hospital that takes care of Covid- 19 patients and assists people in the nearby areas with medical help and health checkups.
