Inauguration of the “HSBC Skills for Life Programme” at Bidar on 8th Feb 2019

Don Bosco ITI Bidar has been committed to the empowerment of the marginalized and the less privileged youth since 2011. Ever since its inception it has paid keen attention to raise the life of the youth through skill development, empowerment and trainings in various domains of Formal and Non formal Skill training. Don Bosco ITI Bidar has inaugurated a new project named “HSBC skills for life” supported by BREADS Bangalore and Swades Foundation on 8th Feb 2019. The programme aims at imparting skill training for marginalised youth in IT & ITES to strengthen and create employability skills for the young boys and girls of Bidar district. The first batch has already begun and successfully enrolled 32 students.

The invited guests for the big event were Fr. P.I Thomas-Kristu Jyoti College, Bangalore, Fr. James Paul-Director of DB Bidar, Fr. Vimal Andrew- Principal of DB Tech Bidar, Mr. Gajanand- Deputy General Manager of Future Group, Mr. Thousif- Manager of Easy Buy and Mr. Yousuf Khan- Ast Manager of Easy Buy. The program began by invoking God’s blessings for the great venture by a prayer song. The inauguration was marked by the lighting of the lamp and thereafter the felicitation from the guests.
