BREADS directly supports nine institutions for the rehabilitation of children rescued from situations of risk (the street, child labour, destitution, abuse etc.), in Karnataka and Kerala. It also supports other childcare institutions indirectly. Through a valuable and impactful partnership with DSV Charitable Foundation, BREADS was able to provide much-needed supplies for Don Bosco institutions in Kalaburagi, Bidar, Hosapete, Devadurga, Yadagiri, and Davanagere. The generosity and goodwill of DSV Charitable Foundation has ensured materials such as basic furniture, sports equipment, educational essentials, computers, CCTVs, projectors, mattresses, blankets, toiletries and so on. More than 270 children, who are orphans, semi-orphans, children from dysfunctional families, poor rural families, school dropouts, child labourers etc. were positively impacted.
Providing these children with better facilities is an investment in transforming their young minds and empowering them to have an enriching life. This vision of providing a better quality of life for less-privileged children is being powered by BREADS’ partnership with DSV Charitable Foundation, for which, BREADS expresses its deep appreciation.
