Review meeting was conducted by Don Bosco Tech, Bangalore Province for the region of Karnataka on 6 and 7 February 2017 in Don Bosco Skill Mission (DBSM), Bangalore. 40 Trainers from 15 Centres of Don Bosco Tech from Karnataka attended the review meeting. The review panel consisted of Fr. Arul Maran (Director, DBSM), Fr. Jeeson Nelluvelil (Regional Director, DB Tech, Bangalore Province), Miss Priyanka (Manager – MIS and Monitoring), Mr. Patric and Mr. Bhuvaneshwar (State Co-ordinators, Karnataka).
This was a great opportunity to look back to the activities of the Don Bosco Tech and to be applauded for the best performance as well to analyse and streamline processes for addressing the challenges faced in the process of Mobilisation, Training and Placement.
Don Bosco Tech, Bangalore Province has over 16 centres in Karnataka which cater to the youngsters by providing industry linked short-term Skill Training and provide successful placements in firms, industries and other job sectors. The projects are supported by various partners like ITC, Accenture, Quest Alliance, NTPC and GSK. This great endeavour has made amazing impact in the geographic area of our intervention by uplifting the needy, unemployed youth with employability and life-sustenance.
