Foundation Stone Blessed – Don Bosco English Medium School at Bablad, Kalaburagi

On 14^th December, 2016, pupils, parents, teachers and invited guests gathered together at 09.30am, to celebrate the blessing of the foundation stone for the new Don Bosco English Medium School building at Bablad – another milestone in the history of Don Bosco, Kalaburagi. Rev. Fr. Joyce Thonikuzhiyil, Provincial, Province of Bangalore, blessed the foundation stone in the presence of Fr. Nedumparambil joy, Director, BREADS, Bangalore, Fr. AnachalilSaji, Rector, Don Bosco, Kalaburagi, Mr.Shantappa, Panchayat member, Savalgi, Salesians, elders of Bablad village, parents, teachers and children.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr. Provincial said that he was delighted to bless the foundation stone for the new School building at Bablad, Kalaburagi, as it is going to benefit thousands of marginalized children from the rural villages and urban slums of Kalaburagi district with an optimal learning environment and quality education.

The Don Bosco English Medium School project at Bablad, Kalaburagi, will be supported by Misean Cara, Ireland, through BREADS, Bangalore.

During the occasion Fr. Provincial also blessed the completed ground floor of the new wing of the existing rehabilitation centre.
