Twelve children of Don Bosco Mithra School were treated to a pleasant surprise by KPMG, Bangalore. KPMG, as a part of their company CSR activity, organised an event at The Leela, Bhartiya City, where 400 employees were organised into teams and challenged to assemble 25 bicycles as a team building exercise. The bicycles were to be gifted to less privileged children and the children of Don Bosco were selected to be the lucky recipients. At the event, the children were received with a rousing applause and were made to feel very welcome. The children were encouraged and motivated by their interactions with the KPMG leadership team, including Mr Gautam Sadh (Associate Partner) and Mr Srikanth ND (COO -Tax), and the other employees. The happy shock of being presented a bicycle to go school is something the children will remember for a very long time to come.
BREADS greatly appreciates the support by KPMG, its CSR partner, and looks forward to more and more fruitful ventures that can empower and transform the lives of underprivileged children, youth and women.
