The CHITHRA Don Bosco team consisting of Fr. Saji SDB, Fr. Sonychen Mathew SDB, Br. Johnson SDB, Br. Narasappa PIME, Mrs. Veena and Mr. Abhishek started off at 7 am towards Molakkalmurur taluk on 2 April 2020 where Mr. Arun Kumar, the CREAM social activist, had properly surveyed the area to identify 50 poor families that needed support and provisions. The CHITHRA team was joined by Gram Panchayat representatives Mrs. Eramma and Mr. Mallikarjuna; Police representatives Mr. Gireesh and Mr. Lokesh; and village leaders Mr. Hanumanth and Mr. Shivu. Together, they distributed the provision packages to the families in need, managing to cover the whole area by 12.30. The CHITHRA team returned home in the evening after a job well done.
