Mr. Gilles Conesa, President of Amis du Père Guézou (ADPG), which partners with BREADS to support the education of 100 underprivileged children, visited BREADS for the first time on 17 June 2024. He was accompanied by Dr Maria Arokiaraj from Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur.
After project discussions with the BREADS team, Mr Conesa visited the Lingarajapuram low-income area, where following a needs assessment survey, ADPG is supporting the early childcare needs of the local community, in partnership with BREADS.
In the afternoon, 40 children—recipients of the ADPG scholarships—and their parents, had a get together with Mr Conesa in BREADS. They enjoyed a happy interaction with games, dances, and sharing of experiences, ending with tasty snacks for all.
Mr Gilles Conesa’s first visit was a continuation of the friendship among ADPG, BREADS and the children from marginalised backgrounds. We look forward to strengthening these relationships.
