For every Indian student, the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations are huge milestones because these are some of the results that we end up carrying with us throughout our careers. Besides, they also influence our further course of study and the educational institutions to which we can gain access.
In nine Young at Risk centres across the Salesian Province of Bangalore, 190 students appeared for the class 10 and 12 exams this year. Happily, 90% of the students successfully cleared their Class 10 exams while 63% cleared their Class 12 exams. Some of the students, especially the girls, have scored very well in the exams (over 80%).
These are not easy results for any child and especially for children who have been through very difficult life circumstances. Therefore, the cause to celebrate even a pass result, and much more, a high score!
BREADS offers its warm congratulations to the children, their teachers and the Don Bosco staff, who tirelessly accompany them through their ups and downs in life. We wish them great continuing success! Hearty congratulations and appreciation to the donors and benefactors, who support the children’s education in various ways. These results are also the fruit of your labour and investment in their lives. Thank you!!
