On 1 September 2025, BREADS in collaboration with the Don Bosco Centre for Social Action (DBCSA) and the Department of Health, launched the Mobile Primary Health Care programme at Kanchagarahalli village, Yadagiri taluk.
This one-year initiative seeks to bridge the gap in rural health care access by providing mobile medical services, early diagnosis and preventive health awareness to underserved communities. At a time when rural populations continue to struggle with inadequate facilities and delayed treatments, this programme stands for interventions for equitable and inclusive health care. The inauguration saw the participation of community leaders, health officials and educators who extended their full support to the DBCSA, reflecting the shared commitment of government, civil society and community stakeholders in addressing the pressing health needs of Yadagiri. The mobile healthcare programme will not only deliver medical services but also work towards building awareness, resilience and healthier futures for rural families.
With this initiative, BREADS reaffirms its mission of empowering vulnerable communities, ensuring that the right to health is not limited by geography or socioeconomic barriers.
